Assassin’s Creed Netflix Series Reveals 4 New Cast Members, Including Indiana Jones Actor!

The upcoming Assassin’s Creed live-action series from Netflix has revealed its first group of recurring cast members. Notably, the announcement arrives more than five years after the project was first teased as part of Netflix’s partnership with Ubisoft.

As a result, the new update offers fans an exciting look at how the long-awaited adaptation of the popular gaming franchise is finally moving forward.

Assassin’s Creed Netflix Series Adds Four New Actors

The Assassin’s Creed series has officially added four new actors to its growing ensemble:

  • Noomi Rapace
  • Ramzy Bedia
  • Sean Harris
  • Corrado Invernizzi

However, Netflix has not yet revealed details about the characters they will portray. Even so, the cast members bring extensive experience from major film and television projects.

For instance, Rapace is widely known for her roles in Prometheus and Lamb. Meanwhile, Bedia is a French actor and director recognized for the series Of Money and Blood. Similarly, Harris has appeared in the Mission: Impossible film series as well as the Netflix drama The Stranger. In addition, Invernizzi previously appeared in Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny.

Assassin’s Creed Series Expands Its Main Ensemble

Alongside the newly revealed actors, the Assassin’s Creed series already has several confirmed series regulars. These include:

  • Lola Petticrew
  • Toby Wallace
  • Zachary Hart
  • Laura Marcus
  • Tanzyn Crawford

Therefore, the expanding cast suggests the series will feature a wide range of characters and storylines. Consequently, viewers can expect a large-scale narrative similar to the structure of the games.

Assassin’s Creed Story Centers on a Secret War

Netflix also revealed the official logline describing the premise of the series. According to the announcement:

Therefore, the show will explore the franchise’s central conflict between freedom and control while moving across different historical periods.

Creative Team and Production Plans

The series will be executive produced by showrunners Roberto Patino and David Wiener. Meanwhile, additional executive producers from Ubisoft Film & Television include:

  • Gerard Guillemot
  • Margaret Boykin
  • Austin Dill
  • Genevieve Jones
  • Matt O’Toole

Furthermore, reports indicate that production for the Assassin’s Creed series is expected to take place in Italy sometime in 2026.

At the same time, earlier rumors suggested the story could explore a historical era not previously featured in the games. Some reports even hinted that historical figures such as Nero might appear in the show.

H2: Assassin’s Creed Franchise Remains a Global Hit

Since launching in 2007, the Assassin’s Creed franchise has grown into one of the most successful gaming properties in the world. In fact, the series has sold more than 230 million copies worldwide.

Previously, the franchise also received a live-action film adaptation in 2016 starring Michael Fassbender. However, the upcoming Netflix series aims to expand the universe even further with a deeper exploration of its historical settings and characters.

As development continues, fans are eager to see how the streaming adaptation will bring the iconic video game saga to life.
