Masters of the Universe’s 3 Post-Credits Scenes Are Finally Online in HD (Spoilers)!

The Masters of the Universe movie has now arrived on Prime Video after completing its theatrical run. As a result, fans can finally watch the film at home and revisit its biggest moments.

However, the movie’s most exciting teases come after the main story ends. In fact, Masters of the Universe features three post-credits scenes that hint at the future of the franchise.

While the movie has not officially received a sequel announcement, these scenes clearly leave the door open for more adventures in Eternia and beyond.

Masters of the Universe Gets Three Post-Credits Scenes

The film received mostly positive reviews and strong support from longtime fans. Nevertheless, its theatrical run ended with approximately $113 million worldwide. The movie also earned a “B” CinemaScore.

Therefore, a sequel is not guaranteed at this stage. Still, the film’s performance on Prime Video could potentially improve its chances of returning.

More importantly, the movie uses its three post-credits scenes to introduce several major possibilities for the future.

Masters of the Universe Introduces Orko Before the Credits

The first scene appears before the main credits begin. It introduces Orko and delivers a fun callback to the classic animated series.

In the original show, episodes often ended with humorous public service announcements. The new movie references that tradition with a joke from Orko.

“In today’s story, we saw muscles don’t necessarily make a man… and that having a skull for a face pretty much guarantees you’re the bad guy!”

The moment gives the film a playful connection to the classic Masters of the Universe cartoon.

Masters of the Universe Teases She-Ra’s Live-Action Debut

The most significant tease arrives during the mid-credits scene. This sequence appears to set up the live-action debut of Adora, better known to fans as She-Ra.

As Queen Marlena and Man-At-Arms discuss Adam’s return, Duncan hints that another important character could eventually return as well.

“Perhaps one day she’ll come back to us, too.”

Another character then asks:

“Force Captain… Adora?”

She-Ra responds:

“No… not anymore.”

The brief appearance features Lauren Saliu as Adora. However, the role could potentially be recast if a sequel or future project moves forward.

Could Hordak and the Evil Horde Be Next?

The scene also appears to take place in Etheria’s Fright Zone. That detail could be especially important for the future of the franchise.

The location is strongly connected to Hordak and the Evil Horde. Consequently, the scene may be hinting at a much larger conflict beyond Skeletor.

If the movie receives a sequel, Hordak could potentially become the next major villain. Additionally, She-Ra’s introduction could expand the franchise beyond Eternia and into the wider world of Etheria.

Masters of the Universe’s Final Scene Teases Skeletor’s Return

The final post-credits scene returns to Snake Mountain.

After the events of the movie, Evil-Lyn discovers what remains of Skeletor. Although the villain appears to have been defeated, the scene strongly suggests that his story is far from over.

Evil-Lyn looks at him and says:

“I must say, you’ve looked better.”

Then, Skeletor’s unmistakable laugh can be heard before the screen cuts to black.

The moment is a clear tease for the villain’s possible return. Therefore, if Masters of the Universe 2 happens, Skeletor could once again play a major role in the story.

Will Masters of the Universe Get a Sequel?

At this time, a sequel has not been officially announced.

However, the movie’s three post-credits scenes create several possible directions for the franchise. She-Ra could become a major new character, while Hordak and the Evil Horde could introduce a larger threat.

Meanwhile, Evil-Lyn’s discovery of Skeletor suggests that the film’s primary villain may not be finished yet.

Ultimately, the movie’s future could depend heavily on its performance on Prime Video. A strong streaming audience could help convince the studio to continue the franchise.

Masters of the Universe Cast

The Masters of the Universe cast includes:

  • Nicholas Galitzine as He-Man
  • Camila Mendes as Teela
  • Jared Leto as Skeletor
  • Idris Elba as Man-At-Arms
  • Morena Baccarin as The Sorceress
  • Alison Brie as Evil-Lyn
  • James Purefoy
  • Charlotte Riley
  • Sam C. Wilson
  • Kojo Attah

With three major teases already in place, the movie has created plenty of possibilities for the future. Now, fans will have to wait and see whether Prime Video’s audience is strong enough to bring He-Man, She-Ra, Skeletor, and the wider Masters of the Universe world back for another adventure.
